The American River Inn is located in the majestic mountains and tall trees of El Dorado County, a premier destination for relaxation and recreation. But the beauty and fun doesn't stop there.

Our grounds are a nature lover's delight. Guests are welcome to relax in our new 50-jet 8-person spa, surrounded by towering redwoods, English holly trees, and a Victorian garden. Fruit trees and vines produce a bounty for breakfast in season.

As you stroll through the grounds, be sure to visit our dove aviary. And watch for native wildlife along the nature trail that meanders to an old abandoned gold mine nearby.

There's plenty of seating on our patio and grounds Our landscaped grounds are more than just beautiful; they are well-appointed for your enjoyment. There are tables, chairs, chaise lounges, and park benches throughout. For corporate retreats, weddings, and theme dinners, extra tables and chairs can be provided for groups of 20 to 80 (maximum 40 in winter).
