Originally built as a private residence in 1853, the historic American River Inn is an elegant and welcoming Bed and Breakfast offering old-fashioned hospitality in a charming setting!  The thirteen thousand plus square foot home, with its elegant Country Victorian Guest Rooms and Suites, creates a sense of nostalgia and serenity for our guests.  If it’s time for a family outing, catered Special Event, or just a romantic getaway for two, it’s time to check-in to the American River Inn!

Each morning of your stay, our gracious Innkeepers will treat you to a country style breakfast to start your day off right and we're happy to meet any dietary needs for a delightful dining experience.  You will have full use of our facilities and amenities, including evening board games your whole family will enjoy, a spacious parlor and inviting verandas, and a peaceful hot tub tucked away in our manicured garden.  We would love to tell you about our favorite places to visit to help you explore all that the beautiful Georgetown Divide has to offer!
